All customers of Mercedes Benz of Tampa will pay a $599 Dealer Fee. The Dealer Conveyance fee applies to all retail sales regardless of the buyers State of Residence. Most of our vehicles are local Florida trade ins on new Mercedes Benz cars as we are a Mercedes Benz Dealership. The vehicles we sell are individual-owned cars before becoming trade-ins. We rarely purchase our cars from auto auctions, unless the model is specifically requested. Our cars tend to be nicer and cleaner than auction cars, but with any used vehicle minor wear may appear under close scrutiny, this includes tiny sand or rock chips. We strive to deliver accurate descriptions. We are committed to selling quality vehicles and want to make sure our customers are satisfied with their purchases. The following terms and conditions of sale apply to all of our online sales.

Payment Methods

Cash (in person), certified check, bank transfers, or 3rd party financing. All funds must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid. Call us for more information and assistance in obtaining fiancing.

Deposit

The succuessful high bidder will submit a $500 non-refundable credit card deposit within 1 business day (mon-sat) of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle.

Payment of Balance Due

The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 5 business days (mon-sat) of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.

Additional Fees and Taxes

There is a $498 documentation/security fee for title transfer,  temporary tags, and security policy. We are required to collect Indiana state sales tax (7%) and Indiana DMV fees for all transactions. Out of state buyers are responsible for state, county, city taves and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state the vehicle will ultimately be registered.

Shipping

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company - call us for more information. We assume no responsiblity for damages to the vehicle incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.

Buyer's Inspection

Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you. The seller has tried to disclose all information known about thhis vehicle for auction. Please be advised that used vehicles will have typical scratches and dings inherent to their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail. The seller welcomes and recommends a buyer's inspection. If you plan to have a buyer's inspection, please make sure you inspect the vehicle prior to the auction ending. Buyer is responsible for any inspection charges and fees.

Warranty

No representations or warranties are made by seller, nor are any representations or warranties relied upon by bidders in making bids. Manufacturer's warranties may still apply. Notice to Bidders

All listed vehicles are available locally and are subject to prior sale; therefore, we resolve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction at any time should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. Please contact our Ebay specialists to confirm availability.

Bid Retractions

Bid retractions are not allowed nor will be recognized within 12 hours of auctions end.  Seller will not be obligated to sell in the event of a late retraction.

Negative Feedback Bidders

We do not allow bidding from negative feedback bidders. New bidders with zero feedback rating should email or call us prior to bidding.

Successful Bidder

The winning bidder will be contacted via email/phone after the auction closes or he/she must contact the seller within 24 hours to proceed with payment and delivery arrangements. The car will remian for sale locally until a deposit is taken.

Non-Paying Bidder

If no deposit is made or if the balance is not paid in full within 5 business days (mon-sat) following the close of the auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer.

Beautiful metallic orange (factory color) HHR LT. Has remote start feature.

Vehicle was in an accident
with sheet metal damage on the left side, top,  and hood.  

No airbags deployed!

Complete paint refinish using Dupont products. Basecoat/Clearcoat.

Some repairs are slightly noticeable upon close inspection but generally a nice looking vehicle.

Interior in good condition. Seats normal wear with no tears. Carpet normal wear. Looks good.

Tires like new.    New Battery installed 6/3/11.

Original engine was damaged while attempting to start after accident due to oil in the intake.  A replacement engine with 60,000 miles was installed.

New seals, spark plugs, water pump,
air filter, oil and oil filter. Trans fluid & filter changed. 

Passed NC inspection.Will have vehicle reinspected at time of sale.

Sold as-is. Local pick-up only. Vehicle is for sale locally, seller has option to cancel auction.

Buyer's Inspection: We do our best to disclose all information known about this vehicle for auction. We welcome a Buyer's Inspection. If you plan to have a Buyer's Inspection, please make sure you have the vehicle inspected prior to the end of the auction. Inspection fees, if any, are the "Buyer's" sole responsibility.

Payments: A deposit of 500 by Cash (in person) (non-refundable) must be paid within 24 Hours of the close of the Auction. When the deposit has been submitted, "Buyer" MUST fax a copy of their valid, state-issued driver's license. The remaining balance must be paid within 7 Days. If payment is made by cashier's or personal check, we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.

Taxes and Fees: "Buyer" is responsible not only for knowing their own states' laws regarding taxes and fees, but also remitting the proper taxes, fees, and documents for their state. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for the vehicle to be titled and registered.

Title Information: Vehicle titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments of up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure that the vehicle can be titled in your own state.

Finalizing Your Purchase: Winning bidder MUST communicate with us by e-mail or phone within 24 hours of the end of the auction to make arrangements to complete the transaction. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 5 days, we reserve the right to re-list this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer. Before the vehicle is released for shipment to the "Buyer", all sale-related and title-related paperwork must be signed and returned completed to the "Seller".

Shipping and Delivery: All shipping charges are the "Buyer's" responsibility. We will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage! Licensed "Carriers" are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom. All shipping arrangements provided by us are strictly a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the "Carrier" and not with us. The amount of time it takes for delivery depends upon the "Carrier" selected. A typical experience is 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the "Carrier" for an Estimated Time of Arrival to be sure.
