A great safety feature on the Chevy HHR is the HHR Tire Pressure Monitoring System or shortly referred to as TPMS. Check out the following items if you are looking to buy a new set of tpms sensors for your HHR.

The Chevy HHR Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) includes a sensor that is installed within each rim of the vehicle. The tpms sends a signal to the Driver Information Center (DIC) in your HHR dash, to let you know the pressure of each of the tires on the vehicle. When one of the tpms sensors reads low, an illuminated low tire warning light will light up on your dash. You can go through the options on your DIC and read the individual pressure of any one of the four tires on your HHR. Always remember when rotating your tires, or when installing a new set of tires for summer or winter, that the tire pressure monitoring system on your HHR is reset, so that the system will correctly read the pressure for the correct tire. If you do not reset the system after rotating your tires, the system could show, for example, that your front left tire is low on air, while it really is your rear right tire that is low.
The Chevy HHR tire pressure monitoring system tpms was installed in MOST chevy hhr's from 2008 and on. I do believe they were an option on earlier builds, though I could be wrong.
